  This place is great! I love staff here and the drinks are VERY cheap for L.A. standards. It's got 2 pool tables and football standings on a chalkboard by the bar. Makes life easy - it's also a Steeler's bar. They also have karaoke 3x weekly.
  
  Only con is I wish more people would come here - it's pretty dead a lot of the time compared to other Westside dives like the Cozy Inn and Tattle Tale. Who knows, maybe the hype has yet to be born.

  Jesus fuck.
  Wtf happened here? It's like basically a hangout for homeless people. Dirty, dingy, it looks like no one's given a shit about this place for quite some time. There are still decorations hung up for someone's birthday -- not from last night, but from long ago. All the pool cues are broken. And everything seems old -- like decades old.
  
  Also, it looks like someone tried to shim the pockets on the pool table to make them tighter -- but they screwed up. The shims are the wrong size for those pockets -- I'm guessing they picked up the shims at a bulk rate and thought that once the table was re-covered, no one would notice -- I noticed. The pocket facings are now screwed up -- what a shame.
  
  Looks like the place could've had potential--but now it's just another shithole bar on the Westside. Places like this should just shut down and make way for something else. It's an eyesore for the community, and invites the wrong element.

  Went in there weds and asked bartender if I could come back Sunday and get the jags game on one of the many TVs and I was assured I could
  Then Sunday 2 mins before game starts another bartender tells me they can't lol and other bartender didn't know what she was talking about
  Now there are like 5 or 6 TVs on the bar alone and all tuned to the same game !!
  I drove all the way over there and to have that told me at that moment is about as shitty as it gets
  lastly I ordered a Bloody Mary which was 6.50 and came in a tiny glass

  Gabe's is a great dive in the west side.
  Decent food but all the old style bar food.
  Nothing stands out about it.
  Big Pittsburgh bar but unfortunately Pittsburgh isn't really famous for any food items so nothing really matches up.
  If it was an eagles bar then cool let's go eat cheesesteaks..
  
  So what is Gabe's famous for?
  Go find out....

  This place is a true dive bar. I know you think oh that's neat a Dive bar, but no this is actually a dive bar. Please don't go and ruin it, I feel as though I am not enough of a Dive bar patron to come here, but I have been known to push the envelope before. Although, for as Dive bar as Gabe's is, It seems completely safe.
  
  At any rate, drinks are fairly cheap and karaoke is fairly ample. Be warned, karaoke is frequently full of country standards and classic rock. So know what you are going to enjoy. Also 75 cent pool on quality tables usually not too crowded. Ive had a couple opportunities to play a couple games in a row on weekdays without any line forming behind me. What more can you ask for?
  
  Also Its a steelers bar, and I went to school in pittsburgh so I am biased towards liking that.
